Garfield Montessori School is a diverse community of children, parents, and staff. To enroll, a child needs to be at least 2 1/2 years old and completely toilet independent. To fully benefit from our primary program, children are expected to start and complete the 3 year cycle. When they leave the program, they are ready for first grade. We invite you to come and see the children at work in our excellent, prepared environment.
There are 4 steps for enrollment and joining our GMS family:
- Visit the school by scheduling an appointment for a tour.
- Complete and submit your application form and send it to school along with the $150 registration fee.
- If your child is not old enough or we have no space, pay $150 non refundable wait list fee.
- After acceptance, bring your child to school for a half-day and full day observation.
This helps a smooth transition on the first day of school.
